PROM: The Short Film blends music video aesthetics with narrative storytelling, serving as both a standalone piece and a prelude to a multi-album storyline exploring queerness and American masculinity. Directed, produced, edited, and starring August Suchecki of the alt-rock duo Royal Fools, the film visually mirrors the highs and lows of the band’s debut EP, PROM. Through its striking imagery, it follows Royal Fools as they navigate the loneliness and insecurity of their high school years.
