Kate Greeley

This project explores the therapeutic potential of music-based interventions, drawing on research from neuroscience, cognitive therapy, and real-world case studies to highlight how music can heal and enhance brain function. Despite extensive evidence of its benefits, music therapy remains generally underrecognized, and unsupported by insurance providers. Greeley’s research also aims to understand the barriers to legitimizing music as a treatment, advocate for its inclusion in healthcare, and mobilize communities to integrate music-based intervention into accessible, grassroots initiatives.
