Motown was more than music—it was an engine of culture, style, and possibility. Motown on Screen brings its story to life across 2 days of film, conversation, and performance at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. From Berry Gordy’s vision to the artists who carried it worldwide, this series traces how Motown continues to echo in art, film, and the lives of those who hear it.

This event is made possible by the UCLA Berry Gordy Music Industry Center.

This event is for UCLA students only. Students must bring their BruinCard with them for identification. Seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis. Early arrival is recommended.
