Performers
Born in Tokyo, Japan, Yoko Mizuno moved to the U.S. after earning her Bachelors of Arts in Piano Performance from Musashino Academia Musicae. While attending the North Carolina School of the Arts, she worked as a staff accompanist and took a great interest in collaborative works, which led her to an MFA in Collaborative Keyboard from the California Institute of the Arts.
Accompanying various artists/musicians has opened her mind to unlimited possibilities. Currently, she is a piano accompanist at UCLA, Colburn School, California State University Northridge and AMDA. She also enjoys teaching various levels of students at various locations.

This event is made possible by the David and Irmgard Dobrow Fund. Classical music was a passion of the Dobrows, who established a generous endowment at The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music to make programs like this possible. We are proud to celebrate this program as part of the 2023 – 24 Dobrow Series.
