Luis Fernando Henao is the Director of the recording studios at the UCLA Ostin Music Center. He is a sound and music technology expert specializing in audio postproduction and music software design.

Luis has a background as electroacoustic composer and more that 12 years experience as a sound editor for film and television programs for majors international broadcasters.

Over the last decade he has been focusing on designing and programing interactive interfaces for art installations and on developing applications for music technology education. In the Herb Alpert School of Music's Music Industry program, he serves as a Lecturer teaching Visual Programing and Audio Technology for Musicians. He also holds the position as Director of Instructional and Music Technology. In this capacity, he supports faculty and students by planning, designing and overseeing all music technology related activities at the UCLA, Herb Alpert School of Music.
