Emily Kubitskey
Lecturer--Music Education

Over the past 15 years, Emily’s passion for supporting underserved youth through music has driven her career both locally and internationally. Her desire to work with youth in music started at a young age, and eventually led her to Vanderbilt University where she received her Bachelor of Music and Masters in Secondary Education with a focus on psychology. This resolve stuck with her in her professional life, when 8 years ago she started her own educational consulting company which took her everywhere from Venezuela to South Korea, from Italy to Minnesota, working with organizations that support youth through music. After working with these programs as well as the LA Phil’s El Sistema-inspired Youth Orchestra (YOLA), the Pasadena Youth Symphony, and as a band director at Ramon C. Cortines Visual and Performing Arts High school over the last decade, Emily is now serving as the founder and CEO of Global Arts Corporation. Her current passion is to not only help serve youth through music, but also to provide constant development for educators.
