Martha Gonzalez has done it all. She completed a dissertation, won a Grammy, published a book, teaches at a top liberal arts college, and keeps up collaborative music projects with musicians in the U.S. and Mexico. The Ethnomusicology major (who went on to earn a doctorate in gender studies), sat down for an interview where she touched on her life and work, her music, and what it really means to be a Chican@ Artivista.
