Scope Saxophone Quartet

Scope is a saxophone quartet founded in the fall of 2024 at UCLA’s Herb Alpert School of Music. Comprised of Mathew Harget (soprano), Austin Hailey (alto), Olivia Phaneuf (tenor), and Daniel Reyes-Velarde (bari), Scope is committed to intentional programming, promoting accessibility to the arts, and engaging in educational outreach initiatives. As Gluck Fellows, they are excited to bring their passion for music to diverse communities. Their performances showcase a diverse repertoire that spans classical, pop, jazz, and contemporary genres.
