Trombone Quartet

The Gluck Trombone Quartet members include Ryan Heisinger (Doctoral Candidate), Chris Tam, Raphael Yap (Graduate), and Tim McElroy (Undergraduate). The quartet performs music composed and arranged for four trombones, with a wide range of styles that include 17th Century Classical, Jazz, Ragtime, and multiple generations of Popular music. The quartet members are all full-time students at UCLA, and study with James Miller, Associate Principal Trombone of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. The quartet enjoys performances at various venues throughout Los Angeles, including schools, libraries, care centers, residential communities, and more.
