Woodwind Trio

The Gluck Reed Quartet was founded in 2018 and comprises both graduate and undergraduate music performance majors. The combination of oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophone, and bassoon is a fairly new concept, and proves to be a stellar blend of timbres with the ability to perform music across many genres. The Reed Quintet presents the music of composers ranging from J. S. Bach to George Gershwin. Under the direction of an internationally-acclaimed woodwind faculty at the Herb Alpert School of Music, the Gluck Reed Quartet educates and entertains audiences throughout Los Angeles with an array of music, from unique instrumental arrangements to original compositions.
