UCLA Symphony Spring Quarter Concert

classical
Schoenberg Hall

UCLA Symphony, UCLA's all-campus orchestra, performs works by Gershwin, Coleridge-Taylor, Bizet and Brahms in its Spring Quarter concert. The evening features fourth-year undergraduate violin major and 2022 UCLA Atwater Kent String Concerto Competition winner Christian Gonzales as soloist in the Brahms Violin Concerto. Graduate orchestral conducting majors Gemalene Acupan and Jakub Rompczyk conduct the UCLA Symphony.

This event is made possible by the David and Irmgard Dobrow Fund. Classical music was a passion of the Dobrows, who established a generous endowment at The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music to make programs like this possible. We are proud to celebrate this program as part of the 2022 - 23 Dobrow Series.
