Music Technology

Students have a variety of technological services at their disposal, from Audio/Visual equipment available for checkout to recital livestream and recording services.

Recording Studio

Record, edit, mix and master your projects in the school’s state-of-the-art 4,300 square foot recording studio, available free of charge for all school of music students and faculty.

UCLA Music Library

Housed in the Schoenberg Music Building and part of the the UCLA Library, the UCLA Music Library has one of the largest academic music collections in North America and the largest in Southern California.

World Music Instrument Collection

The World Musical Instrument Collection occupies approximately 3700 square feet in the newest wing of UCLA’s Schoenberg Music Building. The core collection is housed in the renowned Gamelan Room, the China Room, the Korea/Japan Room, and the India/Near East Room.
