The Undergraduate Student Advisory Board aims to serve The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music by shaping an academic environment that allows for creative freedom, exploration and collaboration for all students. We aim for transparency, openness and to be a voice for the student body as a whole.

Our three main goals:
  • To impart upon the Herb Alpert School of Music students an understanding, respect for and valuing of the differing identities and experiences that contribute to our larger musical community.
  • To facilitate communication between the Herb Alpert School of Music students, faculty and administration; and to create lasting platforms for interdepartmental partnership.
  • To ensure the Herb Alpert School of Music students are informed, connected, and can access any and all tools needed to navigate their time at UCLA.
