The Office of Student Affairs offers various ways for students to receive academic advising. When communicating with our office and an advisor, always include your UCLA ID (UID), program, and reasons for connecting so your advisor can best answer your questions.

When sending an inquiry, please allow 3 – 5 business days for a response, before following up.
Our office aims to respond to inquiries and meet with students in a timely manner throughout the academic year. During busy times – enrollment, performance season, and commencement – please expect delayed communication and impacted availability.

During our open office hours, students are welcome to visit our office and speak with one of our Troubadours (Peer Counselors) or an Advisor.
If you are hoping to speak with the advisor for your major program, please note that they may not be available at the time you visit our office. If they are not available, please feel free to schedule a meeting with them when they are next available.
