Andrea Arias
Chief Financial Officer

Andrea Arias joined The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music in November 2020 as the chief financial officer. In addition to her duties as CFO, she also oversees HR matters for staff, academic student employees, and graduate student researchers.

Andrea is a UCLA alumna with over 18 years of service at UCLA. She began her UCLA Career at the UCLA Labor Center and the Institute for Research on Labor and Employment, a multidisciplinary research center and institute within the social science division of the College of Letters and Science. After serving there in both financial and administrative roles for over 10 years, she transferred to the UCLA School of Education and Information Studies’ Center X, a center devoted to preparing and supporting K-12 teachers and administrators. She served as assistant director of business administration and senior financial manager for the center.

In her spare time, Andrea delights in attending concerts and Los Angeles Dodgers games. Most of all she enjoys spending time with friends and family.
