Mary Sekayan
Coordinator of Armenian Music Program

Mary Sekayan is the program coordinator for the Herb Alpert School of Music Armenian Music Program. She oversees administrative efforts, community outreach initiatives, event management, and student engagement within the program.

A UCLA alumna, Mary is currently pursuing an master’s in counseling and college student services at California Lutheran University. Additionally, she performs as a vocalist with the LA-based Armenian folk ensemble, Lernazang. Mary is passionate about educational equity, student support, and the preservation of Armenian culture and musical heritage. She welcomes inquiries and suggestions related to the program.

Outside of the office, you can find Mary exploring local ice cream shops, hiking in the mountains, or curled up at home with her German shepherd and two cats.
