As a student at The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, you will benefit from the high-quality care and attention of our dedicated Student Affairs team. The Office of Student Affairs is comprised of a team of student affairs professionals who are committed to providing individualized counseling and advocacy for current undergraduate and graduate students, as well as general guidance for prospective students.

The Academic Journey
- Guiding prospective students through the application and audition process
- Welcoming and orienting students to the university and the School of Music
- Providing academic course planning and monitoring progress toward graduation
Personal Growth
- Serving as guides and facilitators to college life, expectations, and responsibilities
- Helping students feel physically, emotionally, and mentally safe and supported throughout their time at UCLA by providing resources and referrals to other offices on campus
Professional Development
- Supporting and enabling professional relationships and associations that support student careers and further academic and artistic development
