Adam Fox serves as Interim Assistant Dean and Director of Student Affairs at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, where he oversees Student Affairs and supports and advises students across the school’s programs. He joined UCLA after several years at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in Hollywood, where he held a range of student-facing roles supporting students in the musical theatre, acting, and dance programs.
Since joining UCLA, Adam has taken on a leadership role that extends well beyond the School of Music, contributing to a number of cross-campus initiatives focused on advising, student support, and institutional improvement. In his time at the School he has helped bring forward-looking ideas — from emerging technology to process improvements — into conversations that shape the student experience at the School and across UCLA.
Adam holds a bachelor’s degree in language studies, with a minor in history, from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a master’s degree in Italian studies from New York University.
