Kat De Nicola serves as the chair’s assistant for the Department of Musicology and Global Jazz Studies program at The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. She manages the scheduling of classes, coordinates events, processes payments, and ensures the seamless operation of daily activities.

A proud UCLA alumna, De Nicola earned her bachelor’s degree in dance and disability studies from the UCLA School of Arts and Architecture. Her passion for the performing arts makes her thrilled to be working at a school where both academic and artistic pursuits thrive.
