Jacob Walter
Fundraising Coordinator

Jacob joined UCLA in January 2024. His work centers on organization, communication, and planning for The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music development team. He also serves as the main point of contact for those donating instruments to the school.

Jacob graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s in cultural studies and comparative literature. He has worked in several areas of higher education, including human resources at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and academic affairs at Augsburg University in Minneapolis.

Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, making pizza, and performing improv and sketch comedy.
