Marc Cimino

Marc Cimino is Chief Operating Officer of Universal Music Publishing Group. Marc leads the company’s global business strategy, overseeing public policy and business development. Marc manages UMPG’s music licensing deals with the biggest and most popular social content platforms worldwide. He was instrumental in many of UMPG’s historic catalog acquisitions and iconic signings since 2015 and executive produced the critically acclaimed HBO series ‘Music Box’, ‘Dear Mama: The Saga of Afeni and Tupac Shakur’ and Pearl Jam documentary ‘Let’s Play Two.’

Previous to UMPG, Marc served as head of Business and Legal Affairs at Warner Bros. Records and started his career holding business affairs and business development roles at Sony Music Entertainment. He holds a B.A. from University of Maryland and J.D. from Seton Hall Law. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three daughters.
