The UCLA Guitar Ensemble presents the culmination of its Improvisation Workshop with the Radu Valcu Quintet, featuring chamber and ensemble performances by UCLA guitar students, alumni, and guests. Directed by the Radu Valcu Quintet and conducted by Dr. Mircea Gogoncea, the program explores new and existing classical-jazz fusion works, highlighting improvisation as a vital part of contemporary performance practice.
