Alexander (Sasha) Gurevich is excited to join The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music as director of the Gluck Fellows Program. Sasha most recently served as general manager and deputy director of the New West Symphony, where he oversaw artistic programming and operations, financial planning, education, and community engagements. Previously, Sasha worked as an artist manager supporting careers of emerging and established musicians, and as a creative consultant for the performing arts organizations in the U.S. and abroad.
An active violist and teacher, Sasha performs with orchestras and chamber ensembles throughout Southern California, and participates in international music festivals. His experience as an arts administrator, educator and performer reflects his commitment to connecting artists and audiences through meaningful musical experiences.
