One of the preeminent string ensembles in the world, the Russian String Orchestra will perform compositions from six students from the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music’s composition program in a concert at Schoenberg Hall as part of the orchestra’s residency at the school of music.
So impressed by the six student works, RSO founder and conductor Misha Rachlevsky decided to perform them in Moscow in October, before arriving in the U.S. on the RSO’s American tour, which begins on November 1, 2018.
