Ahmad Gramian passes away

UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music is deeply saddened by the news of Mr. Ahmad Gramian’s passing. He was generous and charismatic, with a passion for the arts that extended from chamber music to Iranian music and beyond. We were lucky to have worked with him closely on the gift from Farhang Foundation to conceptualize a Minor in Iranian Music at The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. We are honored to help continue his legacy and celebrate his life for generations to come.
