General Audition Information

Joining the Band is a great way to make new friends, get involved in school spirit, and keep playing your instrument.
Once you have been admitted as a new UCLA student for this coming Fall Quarter, you may audition to be part of this year’s Bruin Marching Band. Current UCLA students are also eligible and encouraged to audition. (The process is the same for incoming and returning students.).
All auditions for the 2021-22 Bruin Marching Band will take place virtually through a simple, straightforward process.
Music Majors are automatically accepted into the Band, and in most cases will be able to bypass any additional audition.
