Deborah Pae
classical, masterclasses
Lani Hall

Deborah Pae, cellist with the award-winning Formosa Quartet, will join students and faculty for a special masterclass. Pae captivates audiences with her “superb tone” and “high level of interpretative intelligence." She will discuss and demonstrates ways to achieve heightened nuances in timbre and expressiveness through her experiences as both an ensemble member and an acclaimed soloist.

Made possible by the David and Irmgard Dobrow Fund. Classical music was a passion of the Dobrows, who established a generous endowment at The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music to make programs like this possible. We are proud to celebrate this program as part of the 2018-2019 Dobrow Series.

Register in advance for this event. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the event.
