Spring Woodwind Chamber Ensembles Concert

contemporary
Lani Hall

UCLA's woodwind chamber ensembles perform a concert of varying works, from Renaissance music to recent pieces from the 21st Century.

With an emphasis on pieces composed after 1950, the Spring Woodwind Chamber Music Ensembles concert features works by Paquito D’Rivera, Billy Childs, Samuel Barber, Kenji Bunch, Octavio Vazquez, John Harbison, Faustin & Maurice Jeanjean, Claude Arrieu, Albert Roussel, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Johann Amberg.

This event is made possible by the David and Irmgard Dobrow Fund. Classical music was a passion of the Dobrows, who established a generous endowment at The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music to make programs like this possible. We are proud to celebrate this program as part of the 2022 - 23 Dobrow Series.
