Jessica Balsam joined The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music in August 2026. With a diverse professional background from years in the entertainment industry, non-profit sector, and higher education, Jessica provides a diverse skill set and wealth of experience to the Department of Music Performance, Education & Composition. In addition, she acts a liaison between departments to ensure successful class scheduling, events, clinics, and student experiences.
Outside of work, she can be found spending time outdoors, coordinating social events, volunteering, and enjoying time with her friends and family.
