Natalie Orozco

Natalie Orozco is the chair’s assistant for the Department of Ethnomusicology at The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. In her role, she oversees the department’s day-to-day operations, coordinates administrative activities, supports the Chair with departmental initiatives, and provides support to faculty.

Natalie earned her degree in gender and women’s studies from the University of California, Berkeley. Throughout her career in higher education, she has supported faculty and students in a variety of roles, developing a strong background in academic administration and student and faculty support. Her experience reflects her passion for higher education and her commitment to fostering organized, welcoming, and supportive environments for faculty and students.
