Stephanie Nagler
M.M. '15, VIOLIN PERFORMANCE

“Being accepted to UCLA’s graduate program, included in the VEM String Quartet, and having received extraordinary moral and financial support, were truly the greatest blessings of my life. As a young classical musician with a multitude of hopes, dreams, and aspirations, it was difficult, as one can imagine, forging ahead in a world where the odds of succeeding are stacked against you. So not a day goes by when I don’t give my thanks to the donors for making the unlikely possible.”

Since graduating UCLA, Stephanie has played with Symphony Irvine, The Zelda Orchestra, Theory of a Deadman, the Organic String Quartet, and the Lark Music Society. She has also played violin and created original compositions for Silver Bullet Productions’ A Thousand Voices and the Emmy award winning documentary, Canes of Power. Today, Stephanie freelances, teaches, and is on staff at UCLA’s Herb Alpert School of Music as Principal Musician.
