Torrey Bubien
Troubadour

BA Musicology, Music Industry Minor

Torrey is a fourth-year musicology major and music industry minor at UCLA. She is a transfer student from San Diego, and she is super passionate about the transfer experience. Her focus is 20th-century popular music, particularly the Beach Boys. She loves most music, but her favorites are classic rock and r&b. Some of her favorite artists include The Beach Boys, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Vulfpeck, John Williams, Black Sabbath, and Anderson Paak. Torrey plays the flute, samba, and West African percussion. Out of musical endeavors, Torrey loves Star Wars, video games, and movies. You will usually see her at Comic-Con dressed up. She loves trying new foods and attending concerts around LA. She can give great recommendations for ice cream around town! Torrey would die for Claire from the Bon Appetit Test Kitchen.
