Wook-Young (Luke) Kim
M.M. '15, CELLO PERFORMANCE

“My studies at The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music gave me invaluable opportunities to learn and grow, and having had the opportunity to perform with the VEM String Quartet helped me become a better, well-rounded performer and musician.”

Originally from South Korea and a resident of Canada, Luke Kim completed his Master of Music degree as a full scholarship student at UCLA and under the teachings of Professor Antonio Lysy. Luke appeared in various concert series and performed as a soloist with various orchestras, including the Seoul Symphony Orchestra and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
