Xenia Deviatkina-Loh
DMA '19, VIOLIN PERFORMANCE

“I feel extremely blessed to having been given the opportunity to perform with the VEM String Quartet, an elite ensemble of performers. I have had the chance to perform in Schoenberg Hall, Zipper Hall, the Hammer Museum and LACMA and these incredible opportunities would not have possible without the glorious support of donors.”

Xenia completed her Master of Music degree at UCLA with Professor Movses Pogossian in 2017 and now continues her studies for her Doctorate of Musical Arts.  Xenia has performed with the many orchestras around Australia and New Zealand including the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Canberra Symphony Orchestra and the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra. She has also been a recitalist in various venues across Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom and frequently aired live on ABC radio and Radio New Zealand. In April, Xenia released her debut album under SHEVA Contemporary. It includes works by Édith Canat de Chizy, David Paterson, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Peter Sculthorpe, Rodion Shchedrin, and Eugène Ysaÿe.
