Herb Alpert School of Music performance students compete each year for the opportunity to perform as soloist with UCLA Philharmonia, the school’s flagship orchestra and one of Southern California’s premier training orchestras.

Stefanacci will perform Mozart’s Oboe Concerto in C, K. 314 during two performances with UCLA Philharmonia, the first on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 8pm in Schoenberg Hall and the second performance on Sunday, March 3 at 6pm at LACMA’s Bing Theater.

Congratulations to runner-up Maxwell Paulus (John Williams, Horn Concerto) and to Honorable Mention Matthew Lombard (Yoshimatsu, “Cyber-Bird” Saxophone Concerto).
