Wendy Caldwell
Lecturer - Vocal Coaching, Music Performance

Wendy Caldwell, a native of Canada, graduated with her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Acadia University in Nova Scotia, receiving the Birks Medal in Music as the top graduate. She went on to study at the University of Toronto where she obtained her Artist Diploma.

Ms. Caldwell has coached and been a collaborative artist at Acadia University, University of Illinois at Chicago, California State University at Long Beach, California Institute of Technology, Pasadena City College, and UCLA. At Pasadena City College, she was principal accompanist and Music Director of PCC Opera for over 10 years. Currently Ms. Caldwell is a collaborative artist and vocal coach at both UCLA and CSULB, as well as a very busy freelance accompanist in the Los Angeles area, performing regularly in recital with both student and professional musicians. She has been a staff pianist for the National Flute Convention and has performed in recital with such artists as Carol Wincenc and Robert Langevin. Ms. Caldwell has also been a
Guest Artist at Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival, Alaska and at Cal State Summer Arts in Monterey and Fresno.
