AUDITIONS 2021
Info About Live & Remote Auditions

What is AuditionRoom?

AuditionRoom is the software built by Acceptd that we will be using to conduct live-virtual auditions. We highly recommend reading the applicant guide linked below to understand what will be expected of you.

Congratulations on being invited to final round auditions/interviews for The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music!

Due to the global pandemic, our campus remains closed to the public. Therefore, we have chosen to conduct final round auditions/interviews in a different manner than we ever have before: completely in a virtual environment utilizing the AuditionRoom software developed by Acceptd.

Below please find the requirements for each program, along with specific requirements for each instrument area if applicable. Please read these requirements thoroughly.

If you are prevented from choosing one of the following options due to technical issues or time zone issues, we will do our very best to accommodate you. We also understand that some of these may arise on the day of your audition/interview. In that case, we will do everything in our power to accommodate you.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Associate Director of Admissions Emily Spitz via email at espitz@schoolofmusic.ucla.edu.
