In Memoriam Antonio Lysy

Antonio Lysy, an artist of international stature and dedicated pedagogue, taught cello for twenty years at The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. He retired in December, 2023. Then, suddenly and unexpectedly, he passed away in February, 2024. We all remember and miss our great teacher, mentor, colleague and friend, Antonio Lysy.
