The Thailand collection has 76 pieces. It was restored in 2015 and is now used for a Music of Thailand class. One ranaad ek (principal xylophone) was owned by the famous Thai composer and musician Luang Pradit Phairoh. The restored instruments were honored in a wai khruu ceremony held at UCLA in 2017.
