The inaugural Archive Wednesday, presented by the Ethnomusicology Archive, features professor Chi Li with graduate students Wan Yeung and Mei-Chen Chen, and Professor Helen Rees. They will present an informal performance of several pieces from the Chinese silk and bamboo repertory. Join us!
Archive Wednesday is a new series presented by the Ethnomusicology Archive. Select Wednesdays at noon, the Archive will host a performance, talk, screening, or discussion that celebrates and shares the scholarship and performance of the students and faculty of the Department of Ethnomusicology. Presentations and performances are both formal and informal and provide a time and space for faculty and students to share fieldwork – both the recordings and methods, recent publications, and collaborations with other students and faculty across departments. Occasionally, the Archive will present newly acquired collections, or highlight lesser-known materials.
If you would like to be considered for an Archive Wednesday, please drop by the newly renovated space.
