UCLA Philharmonia – Hear Now Festival

UCLA Philharmonia makes its third appearance headlining the Hear Now Music Festival,  Los Angeles’ annual festival of new music by Los Angeles-area composers.  This year’s program includes symphonic works by Ian Dicke, Jeff Beal, Mark Weiser and Saad Haddad, and features two concertos: the world premiere of “Inclusion: seeing, breathing, touching” for piano and orchestra by Hear Now director Hugh Levick, and “Andronicus” for violin and orchestra by Jairo Duarte-López.

Classical music was a passion of the Dobrows, who established a generous endowment at The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music to make programs like this possible. We are proud to celebrate this program as part of the 2022 - 23 Dobrow Series.

Like most of The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music’s programs, this event is FREE! Register in advance for this event via the link below. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the event.  Seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis. Early arrival is recommended. Registrants receive priority up until 15 minutes before the event, and after that time any open seats will be released to patrons on our waitlist.
