Each program year provides an opportunity to celebrate Yiddish song and music. Participants in past programs met and listened to the music of master fiddlers, clarinetists and trumpeters. They learned how to play and sing Yiddish songs, participated in a ‘behind the scenes’ look at the creations of the Yiddish Fiddler on the Roof, and more.
These events were made possible by the Lowell Milken Center for Music of American Jewish Experience. A number of the programs received additional generous support from the David Vickter Foundation.
