The winner of the 2020 Atwater Kent Piano Concerto Competition is Brandon Zhou, who will be playing the Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 1, Op. 15 with UCLA Philharmonia on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 8PM in Schoenberg Hall.
Runner-up: Veola Sun (Liszt Piano Concerto No. 2)
Our adjudicators were Sarkis Baltaian (Professor, Colburn Conservatory; Coordinator, Pianist Program at the Orange County School of the Arts) and Althea Waites (keyboard faculty, Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at Cal State, Long Beach).
