With programs offered in music performance, composition, conducting, jazz performance, global jazz studies, ethnomusicology, musicology, music history and industry, our undergraduate and graduate students are transformed by exposure to music in all its contemporary and historical diversity. Our stellar faculty, including Grammy-winners, Guggenheim and Fulbright recipients, and LA Phil orchestral musicians, provide individual mentorship, while also encouraging our students to engage with the vibrant nexus of people, ideas, research, and academic experiences offered by UCLA – the top public university in the nation.

As our school of music enters its second century, you are invited to join us on campus for some of the 350+ performances, lectures and masterclasses our students, faculty and guest artists and scholars present each year. Our events are mostly free. We hope to see you there!
