Hasmik Baghdasaryan earned her Master’s degree in Social Enterprise Administration from the Columbia University School of Social Work. She completed her undergraduate studies at UC Santa Barbara, with a double major in Sociology and Slavic Languages and Literature. Hasmik has nearly a decade of experience in the non-profit sector; working with local as well as international non-profits. She is the Development Project Manager for the Hidden Road Initiative—where she initiated and led kindergarten renovation projects in two underserved villages in Armenia. Additionally, she has a passion for Armenian folk culture and is a dancer with the Lernazang Ensemble, a Los Angeles based Armenian folk music and dance ensemble. As the outreach coordinator for the UCLA Armenian Music Program, she is excited to assist the Program in its mission to preserve and present Armenian music as an art form.
