Join this online event to learn about the mixtapes that carried Jessica Schwartz, Marina Peterson, and Jessica Bissett Perea through writing their recently published books Radiation Sounds: Marshallese Music and Nuclear Silences; Atmospheric Noise: The Indefinite Urbanism of Los Angeles; Sound Relations: Native Ways of Doing Music History in Alaska—and reflect on the music that has done the same for you. This event is co-hosted by Prof. J. Martin Daughtry (NYU) and Prof. @ninaeidsheim (UCLA PEER Lab).
