In a survey of Percussion Chamber Music by female composers, The Feminine Mystique features the world premier of Joan Huang’s Yellow Crane Tower for trumpet and percussion quartet, as well as works by Johanna Beyer, Kristen Shiner McGuire, Carolyn Bremer, and Julia Wolffe.
