Siddhartha Khosla is making magic on TV, combining acoustic instruments with rapid inspiration and all the benefits of remote teams and production. He is at the heart of music creation in this abundant world of peak TV, working across shows at his home studio with a remote team, while recording on acoustic instruments from the US and abroad. Siddhartha creates a wide range of environments, from the acoustic, Indian-inspired music he creates for “This Is Us” to his electronic score for Marvel’s “Runaways.” Siddhartha shares his approach to TV and film scoring, where instead of synthesized sounds he and other artists record it live.

Siddhartha Khosla is an award-winning film and television composer, and singer/songwriter/producer of the critically acclaimed band, Goldspot. He currently scores NBC’s hit Golden Globe and Emmy-winning drama series, “This Is Us,” starring Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, and Sterling K. Brown. He also is currently scoring ABC’s new Tim Doyle comedy series, “The Kids Are Alright;” Hulu’s original series, “Marvel’s Runaways,” and E!’s first scripted drama series, “The Royals.”. Additionally, he composed original songs for the musical film “Basmati Blues,” recently scored CBS’ comedy series “Me, Myself and I,” starring John Larroquette, and comedy feature film, “Fat Camp,” starring Chris Redd and Vivica A. Fox. He began scoring for television and film while fronting his acclaimed band, Goldspot, which was first discovered on KCRW’s “Morning Becomes Eclectic.” Goldspot’s original songs have been featured on numerous TV shows, including “This Is Us,” “How I Met Your Mother,” “The O.C.” and “The Neighbors,” as well as in major advertising campaigns for Google, Target and Apple.
