Cellist Jean-Michel Fonteneau, Distinguished professor at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, shares his insights on some of the cello’s most beloved repertoire.

The eminent French cellist is one of the leading performers, chamber musicians, and teachers. Fonteneau serves as a professor of cello and chamber music at the San Francisco Conservatory and maintains an active performing career around the world.

This event is made possible by the David and Irmgard Dobrow Fund. Classical music was a passion of the Dobrows, who established a generous endowment at The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music to make programs like this possible. We are proud to celebrate this program as part of the 2020 - 21 Dobrow Series.
