Fall Woodwind Chamber Music Ensemble Concert

Woodwind Chamber Ensemble
contemporary

Marking their return to live performance, UCLA Woodwind Chamber Music Ensembles perform works by Paul Hindemith, Catherine McMichael, Eugène Bozza, John Steinmetz, Carl Maria von Weber, Friedrich Wilhelm Voigt, Ludwig Thuille, André Jolivet, Steven Galante, Max Bruch, Ludwig van Beethoven, Yvonne Desportes, and Marc Mellits. The Woodwind Chamber Ensembles, directed by faculty members Jan Baker, Jonathan Davis, and John Steinmetz, are comprised of undergraduate and graduate music majors and non-majors.

This event is made possible by the David and Irmgard Dobrow Fund. Classical music was a passion of the Dobrows, who established a generous endowment at The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music to make programs like this possible. We are proud to celebrate this program as part of the 2021 - 22 Dobrow Series.

Like most of UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music’s programs, this event is FREE!  Early arrival is recommended. Seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis. No RSVP required.
